What is AAC?
The Arguing Agents Competition is designed to provide an open forum in which agents can compete using various argument dialogue protocols, where moves and arguments can be evaluated through a variety of argument computation engines. The idea bears passing resemblance to TAC. We started working on AAC in Summer 2008, and our aim is to be lean and cheap, working with good students to get much of the implementation done.
Who are we?
Things are very much in flux, but we are currently a loosely knit group of researchers and MSc/PhD students at:
Writing
There are two short outline papers (presented at CMNA ‘08) that aim to show how we are taking our initial steps.
Software
There are currently two ways to use the AAC software. If you have a machine that is running a Tomcat server then you can download and install the web-app from the software distribution. Otherwise you could download the AAC Virtual Machine Appliance (AACVM).
